1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging AquaCode Navigators for software development services, you (The Client) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between Coastal Haven's premier software engineering firm and your organization, ensuring delivery excellence in coastal and maritime digital infrastructure.

2. Scope of Services

All projects commence with a formal Statement of Work (SOW). AquaCode Navigators specializes in bespoke mobile application development and enterprise-grade cloud integrations. Any modifications to the project scope after signing must undergo our standard maritime-grade Change Request process to ensure technical feasibility and timeline adjustment.

3. Project Timelines & Deliverables

We utilize an iterative development approach. While we provide estimated completion dates, performance is dependent on timely feedback and provision of internal data from the Client. AquaCode Navigators acknowledges that in port logistics and shipping software, precision is paramount over rushed delivery.

4. Payment Terms

Standard payment schedules are milestone-based: 20% Initial Deposit, 40% Mid-Project Validation, and 40% upon Final Acceptance. Invoices are payable within 15 days. Late payments may result in a specialized project suspension to preserve resources for active maritime contracts.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon final payment, AquaCode Navigators transfers all ownership rights of the custom-developed source code to the Client. We retain the right to use non-proprietary engineering patterns and libraries developed during the process. We take pride in building tools that our coastal partners fully own.

6. Confidentiality

We uphold a strict code of silence regarding your operational data, shipping routes, and proprietary coastal tourism algorithms. All engineers at AquaCode Navigators are bound by restrictive NDAs to protect your competitive advantage.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

AquaCode Navigators warrants that services will be performed in a professional, workmanlike manner. Software is provided "as is" regarding its fitness for specific maritime conditions beyond the documented scope. We provide a 90-day post-launch maintenance window for critical bug resolution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaCode Navigators's liability for any project claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for that specific engagement. We are not liable for lost shipping profits or indirect maritime delays resulting from software use.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Maritime County. Any disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in Coastal Haven. We value our local community and strive for amicable, professional resolution in all matters.
